Our AD&D program is simple. The credit union provides a list of eligible members, and Affinion Benefit Group does the rest. Affinion handles the mailing, billing and the member relations. The AD&D program is rolled out to your members in a series of direct mail offers. All members have to do is complete and return a sample enrollment form to put their coverage in force. In addition, the mailing gives members the chance to purchase supplemental coverage at affordable group rates. Premiums for the added coverage are automatically deducted from share or share draft accounts.

Each eligible account holder is offered an Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance benefit without cost or obligation, and may elect to purchase additional coverage at low, affordable group rates.

Program Highlights
- Basic Protection - $1,000 AD&D Insurance provided at no cost or obligation to eligible account holders who complete an enrollment form.
- Supplemental Coverage Protection - Available from $10,000, up to a maximum of $300,000 at affordable group rates.
- Eligibility - No eligible member 18 years or older can be turned down. No medical examination or health questions required.
- Family Coverage - Available to the insured's spouse and any unmarried dependent children under age 21. Our program also covers full-time college students up to age 23.
- Anti-Inflation benefit - Increases the account holder's coverage every two years without increasing cost.
- Double Indemnity Benefit - Doubles any benefits payable for a covered loss occurring while traveling as a fare-paying passenger in or on a public conveyance.
- Hospital Expense Benefit - Pays an additional percentage of the principal sum per month due to a covered accident.
- Special Education Benefit - If the family plan is selected, and the account holder succumbs, and there are children in college, an additional percentage of the principal sum is paid to each eligible child for up to 4 full years provided they continue their education.
- Child Care Benefit - If the family plan is selected, and the account holder succumbs, an additional percentage of the principal sum per year up to $2,000 is paid for all eligible children combined for up to two full years.
